Joe Roberto and Poverty Hash
Halfdoor Records proudly presents the first EP from Joe Roberto and Poverty Hash, “Whatsallthebuzzabout?” This (5) song collection from the Danbury, CT based supergroup is heavily rooted in swampy, stomp blues with a modern rock twist.
“Unafraid of simplicity, crowned with immense talent and steeped in years of diverse musical experiences, Joe Roberto and Poverty Hash bring a profound chemistry and musicianship to the stage with a style that is truly all their own.”

Boom Boom Belam
Boom Boom was birthed into the blue-collar belt of Minnesota, St Paul’s north side – Frogtown. He is reputed to snort gravel, chase whiskey and regularly slur obscenities. His demo is currently available and his much anticipated full-length is expected out on Spring ’10 on Halfdoor Records.
“Hometown boy Boom Boom Belam brings a one-man blues style self-described as “generic blues punk with a touch of half hazard rock rip-offs.” Personally, I think he ends up selling himself short through modesty. Boom Boom Belam has a knack for finding the groove and riding it for all it’s worth. Couple that with a vocal style that reminds you of Mr. John Wesley Myers of The Black Diamond Heavies and if you don’t find a foot tapping then you need to call a doctor cause that bitch must be broke.”
